Jean x Reader - Together

You, Marco and Jean all were great friends grew up together and even joined to fight against the titans together.

Soon as the plan to refill the gas tanks everyone hand you all set out to finish helping with the titans in the area

But when everything ended with the rest of you people were alive, yet Marco was no where to be found so after Eren plugged the wall with the big boulder you and Jean sent off to find him.

A white handkerchief was around your nose and mouth to block away the smell of what was left of people or former cadets who couldn't get away or help.

"Do you think we will find him?" You asked hopefully

"We will don't give up okay (Y/N)" Jean replied patting your back softly

Nodding once you took a deep breath and continued to walk forward when you saw it....or more like him..

Marco...sitting on the ground leaned up against the wall one arm on his lap his face looked so dark now that it looked like something bit the hell out of him

You fell to your knees when you confirmed it as Marco, your dear friend who completed your small group the three of you had.

"M-Marco" You whispered with wide eyes

Jean was no different he was shaking slighting his eyes wide as well, he too couldn't believe what happened....but how?

Once Jean finished telling a women about who it was you still where out of it..silent tears ran down your cheeks as you remembered the good times

"Get up (Y/N)...." Jean told you

But since you didn't listen he helped you up and held you close to his chest, he too was remembering but he knew he had to be there for the girl he came to love

Sure he was known for his crush or love for Mikasa but truth be told he really loved you more.


Few Days Later...


You and Jean joined the Survey Corps in hopes in to helping people find a way to save humanity, yet only thing was your friends started to see changes in you

You only talked to Jean but it was only for a little bit, your smile was rarely show and you preferred to be alone more often even when you were helping people with jobs that Corporal Levi put you on with you would just keep quite or stop once in a while.

Jean was getting tired of seeing you sad, you were suppose to allow him to be there for you yet you were pushing him away even if he knew your pain of the loss

So here he was standing infront of the door to your room thinking if he should knock or just walk right in and well him being him he just walked in and saw you there sitting on your bed hugging your knees and looking out the window

"(Y/N)...." He whispered then walked towards you, sitting on the bed he slowly wrapped his arms around you and pulled you close to his chest

"Stop trying to be alone...he was both our friend....." Jean started

"I know....I'm sorry..." You replied and hugged him back your face buried in the crock of his neck and tears that you thought weren't going to come fell again down your cheeks

"It's going...to be okay" Jean said even though he knew you weren't one to let a death of a friend off so easy of course he wouldn't allow you to get through it alone.

"I promise (Y/N) we both will live for him...and we will do as much as we can to continue this promise okay?" Jean told you then whipped the tears off your cheeks with his thumbs

Only getting a nod in response from you, you both looked into one another's eyes and slowly started to lean in and once your lips touched you both felt happy like sparks flew

He kissed you until Levi had to pass by and yell at you both to get back to work

And as of that moment you knew that you and Jean would both live on and help humanity Together.

Marco's sprit smiled at the figure of the new made couple and chuckled shaking his head

"Well its about time" He said then slowly disappeared where he would wait to meet up with his friends once again when it was there time to join him.
