Wake up - Kanda x Reader

||A/N: This is all in Kanda's POV so i'm sorry if this sucks...and if hes ooc.||

That idiot she went on that stupid mission and got herself hurt badly, I told the damn chibi to be careful but she went and flip off my words like she usual does.

So now here I am waiting in my room for everyone to sleep or be in there rooms to get ready for the night, no way in hell will I ever let people know I went to see the damn chibi.

When it came time to do so I had got out of my room quietly and headed down the hall to the medical ward, as I did I started to notice this feeling in my chest rise again when I had heard of (Y/N)'s condition from the mission. It was that damn Noah's fault.

Was I worried? Che! Hell no I don't give two shits about this place, but lately this girl has been breaking down the walls I had up and i've only known her since before moyashi came around and joined so that would be about two years or more. Don't remember and don't care.

Anyway I knew that if I had these feelings it would have attachments which would lead to me having to have this stupid feeling inside if she were to die now or even in the future. And that...was something I was trying to avoid since the beginning.

Arriving at the door I slowly opened it and saw her pale form laying still on a bed, her (H/C) framed her face perfectly and I couldn't help but stare. Wait what?! Since when should I start thinking this!

Sighing I shook my head and walked inside closing the door behind then headed to her bedside, sitting in the chair beside her I looked at her for some time. Apparently she had been out for a weak already...in truth it did kill me but I never let it show nor did I talk about her to others.

"Oi chibi wake the hell up.." I whispered.

Nothing...not even a slight movement..it wasn't as if I had hopes she would listen to me anyway..she never has and always bugged me as much as the moyashi does. Him and her both get into arguments with me whenever its possible.

Cupping her cheek with my hand I let my thumb rub against her cheek, I wouldn't admit this out loud but this girl was my weakness and she didn't even know it. Nor did I even think she would even return my feelings.

"(Y/N) wake up....now." I said harshly then pulled on her cheek. (A/N: Typical Kanda....xD)

When nothing came again I sighed and stood up, this was a waste of time...turning around I was about to go back to my room for much needed sleep when I heard a faint groan.

Eyes widening slightly I looked behind me at her as I saw her eyes flicker open, her (E/C) orbs looked around before they landed on mine. I stiffened when she saw me but all I got was a small smile.

"Kanda...." She whispered.
"H-Hey..." I muttered
"What are you doing here?" She asked
"....Um visiting you..." I mumbled hoping she didn't hear, but those hopes weren't granted.
"Why?" She asked, I saw the confusion in her eyes.

Sighing I looked towards the wall and thought of what to do or say, but when I realized it seemed as if it was the 'time' to 'confess'. Damnit if this was something else and some other time I wouldn't be telling her this! Whatever ill just say it once and thats it if she doesn't hear it I am not saying it again!

"Look chibi I will only say this once! I....I love you okay? You happy now?!" I almost yelled then looked away from her.

Silence....thats all I got, rejected already huh? I knew it wouldn't go well.

"I...L-Love you too Kanda..." She mumbled.

See! Wait what?! I blinked and looked at her, she just giggled and nodded her head as if I heard right, a small blush was across her cheeks. Grumbling to myself I covered my face with my hand as I felt a blush come up...gosh this girl and what she does to make me feel...

Sitting down at her bedside I glared at her partly before letting my hands rest beside her head on the pillow, leaning down I let my lips touch hers in a kiss. I didn't kiss anyone during my time here so I wasn't sure if she would like this or not. But I was soon answered when she pressed her's back.

Pulling away I smirked down at her as she seemed to shyly back, cupping her cheek once more I gave her one more kiss before pulling away once more.

"Met me in the dinning hall tomorrow morning for breakfast okay? Oh and stay away from usagi and moyashi cause your mine now.." I told then stood up telling her good night and headed back to my room. Tomorrow morning would be an interesting day.
